More than 1,000 people from the Calgary police and partner agencies have participated, covering thousands of kilometers on ground, water, and air. Despite extensive efforts including 650 police members, patrol officers, police dogs, HAWCS, drones, and digital evidence review, Parker has not been located. Police chief Katie McLellan stated the approach is changing but resolve remains. Teams have searched 28.57 square kilometers (7,058 acres), walked 8,677 kilometers, and logged 5,500+ search hours. Police continue to follow up on tips and re-examine evidence. The public is asked to check yards, garages, and vehicles. The disappearance is described as deeply unusual; 99% of missing children under 12 are found safe.
