A 40-year-old man is under investigation after he allegedly assaulted a 73-year-old man in a shopping-centre food court on East Coast Road in Singapore. The girl's mother stopped him, and the 40-year-old man, believed to be her father, confronted the wonton noodle seller. He reportedly grabbed the elderly man's arm and threw him to the ground following a heated exchange. The elderly man, who has previous leg and hip injuries, later suffered severe back pain and is taking medication. The younger man apologised and offered him a drink.
