Am 19.08.2026 wurde der 27-jährige Kyle Spitze aus Tennessee (USA) von einem Bundesgericht zu einer Freiheitsstrafe von 77 Jahren verurteilt. Er war eines der aktivsten Mitglieder des Online-Netzwerks „764“ und manipulierte unter dem Pseudonym „Criminal“ mehr als 2600 Opfer, überwiegend junge Mädchen, dazu, sich selbst oder anderen Schaden zuzufügen. Zwei seiner Opfer trieb er in den Selbstmord. Er forderte seine Opfer auf, sich zu verletzen und Tiere zu töten, und drohte, Nacktvideos zu veröffentlichen. Spitze wurde im Frühjahr 2024 festgenommen und bekannte sich Ende 2024 in mehreren Anklagepunkten schuldig.
