Nearly 1.7 metric tons of illegal drugs were seized, mostly cocaine and methamphetamine, along with opium and oxycodone, with an estimated street value of approximately $139 million. The drugs were smuggled into Canada via commercial trucks across the bridge from Detroit, in what police described as a broker-style transportation model involving complicit truck drivers. Additionally, 17 firearms were seized, including a rare antique Finnish Lahti L-39 .50 calibre anti-tank rifle with no legitimate civilian use. Other items recovered include cash, ammunition, prohibited weapons like brass knuckles, a vehicle, high-end jewellery, money counters, and electronic devices. A total of 21 individuals face 102 charges, including conspiracy to import cocaine, trafficking cocaine and heroin, and various firearms offences. Of those charged, 19 have been arrested, with some released on future court dates and others remanded in custody; two suspects remain at large and are subjects of active manhunts in the Windsor area.
