m., a man smashed a bay window at the home of MLA Evan Moir on Kingsway near Kelvin High School in Winnipeg's River Heights area. The man then continued down the street, breaking windows at several neighbouring homes, including that of independent MLA Mark Wasyliw. Windows were also smashed at Kelvin High School. The man allegedly set a garbage bin on fire, which was quickly extinguished. Moir attempted to confront the man, who reportedly brandished a bottle and demanded alcohol. Police arrested the man. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
