On 23.08.2026, Toronto Police arrested four adults and four teens in a stolen-vehicle and firearms investigation in the city's east end. A loaded AR-15-style rifle with 27 rounds of 5.56-calibre ammunition was found. Kevin Joao, 20, Jahmier Adams, 19, Lamario Reddick, 20, Noah Lall, 18, and a 16-year-old boy face multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of automobile master keys. Three 16-year-old girls face similar charges.
