Am Freitag, 29. August 2025, um 15:50 Uhr wurde ein 33-jähriger Mann aus Hanau im Bereich des Kanaltorplatzes in Richtung Brüder-Grimm-Straße von Zeugen dabei beobachtet, wie er seine Hose herunterzog und an seinem Geschlechtsteil manipulierte. Der Mann hielt sich dabei kurzzeitig in der Nähe eines Spielplatzes auf, an dem sich zum Glück keine Kinder befanden. Eine Bundespolizistenstreife nahm den Mann fest und übergab ihn an das Hanauer Polizeirevier. Es wurden erkennungsdienstliche Maßnahmen durchgeführt. Die Ermittlungen wegen des Verdachts der exhibitionistischen Handlung dauern an. Zeugen werden gebeten, sich bei der Kriminalpolizei unter der Telefonnummer 06181 100-123 zu melden.
