Motorradfahrer (28) tödlich verunglückt

Am 04.06.2026 gegen Abend ereignete sich auf der Mannswörther Straße in Schwechat ein tödlicher Verkehrsunfall. Ein 28-jähriger Motorradfahrer aus Wien verlor aus bislang unbekannter Ursache die Kontrolle über sein Fahrzeug und prallte gegen eine Laterne. Der Mann erlitt dabei so schwere Verletzungen, dass er noch an der Unfallstelle verstarb. Nach ersten Ermittlungen der Polizei dürfte überhöhte Geschwindigkeit eine Rolle gespielt haben. Der genaue Unfallhergang wird derzeit untersucht.
