The police seized two sawed-off shotguns, ammunition, several swords and machetes, approximately one ounce of fentanyl, two grams of crack cocaine, and $1,600 in currency. Two men, ages 53 and 32, and three women, ages 29, 27 and 26, were charged with multiple firearms-related offences, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The 53-year-old man and the 27- and 39-year-old women were also each charged with possession of a weapon and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. All five were detained in custody. Two other women, ages 29 and 40, were charged with similar offences but released on a promise to appear in court.
